Arista Insurance, a leading managing general agent with a network of commercial underwriting offices across the UK, is looking for a Head of Liability Underwriting based in our London office. Since 2007, Arista has already established a profitable account across Liability, Property and Motor classes.

From our offices in the Lloyd’s building, this unique and exciting role will support the continued growth and development of Arista Insurance through our regional underwriting teams and online trading.

The Role

The successful candidate will take national responsibility for continuing the profitable development of the Arista liability account, implementing pricing and product strategies for the sector.

Working very closely with Arista’s regional underwriting teams, Arista’s Head of Liability Underwriting will maximise, develop and coach liability underwriting capabilities across the organisation.

As well as new product development, the role includes review and enhancement of existing products; in both cases developing pricing structures, policy wordings and underwriting guides.

Your Experience

This role requires both class and sector underwriting, management of business plans, product development and strong leadership, you will therefore have proven track record in these areas with extensive demonstrable experience

Arista is looking to recruit forward thinking, motivated and proactive team members. Ideally the successful candidate will be ACII qualified, and currently managing a liability account at a regional or national level.
