ARISTA LAUNCHES NEW MOTOR TRADE POLICY
Commercial lines underwriting organisation Arista has launched a new Motor Trade Policy. This
coincides with the recruitment of market leading motor trade underwriter, Alan Bradbrook.
The new product offers competitive cover for a wide range of motor trade activities from small
garages to main dealers. Written on a full, all risks basis, it is provided as a single policy for both
road and internal risks with automatic equipment breakdown cover and legal expenses, and the
option to add engineering inspections.
To tie in with this launch, Mr. Bradbrook has been appointed as motor trade underwriter.
Previously employed by Allianz as senior commercial underwriter with a specific focus on motor
trade, Mr. Bradbrook has 27 years experience in the market.
Commenting on the appointment and launch, Arista’s head of motor Alan Horemans said: “As a
relatively new company with no cumbersome legacies, we can develop products that truly tie in
with brokers’ needs and processes. This new motor trade product offers some very valuable
benefits for brokers making it an exceptionally comprehensive and competitive product.”
The new product offers optional elements such as engineering inspection and terrorism cover.
Policy documents are issued by email and based on a statement of fact so no proposal
document is required.
Mr. Horemans added: “The recruitment of Alan Bradbrook and the expertise of the rest of the
regional underwriting team means we really are able to offer a market-leading product and
service to brokers who will also value the relative exclusivity of the Arista agency base. Alan is
very well known in the broking community and highly respected. In fact his appointment came
on the back of very positive feedback from our brokers. We are therefore delighted he has
joined us and know that he will bring tremendous value to our and our brokers’ business.”
